Do More, Stress Less:

Leave Protecting Your Home Up to Us

At Rodrian Insurance, Affiliate of Robertson Ryan Insurance, we want you to know we’re here to provide you with peace of mind when it comes to insuring your home. We know how hard you’ve worked to buy your house and add your signature touch throughout your home. It’s where your family gathers, where you get to kick back. It’s our job to keep you well protected.

Your Homeowners Insurance

We’ll tailor your Home insurance to your specific needs reviewing the amount of coverage you need to protect the structure and your personal property from damage. We’ll also discuss your liability exposure to ensure you are protected in the event of an accident or loss on your property. If you have additional risks such as a pool we’ll make sure the liability coverage under your Homeowners policy takes this into account. You can extend your liability protection with a Personal Umbrella policy so that in the event of a catastrophic accident on your property you’ll be properly covered.

If you’re running a business out of your home – whether part-time or full-time – we will go over what coverage is available to ensure you’re protected. If we write multiple coverages with you (Automobile and Umbrella, for example), we can combine them into a single policy with one invoice, simplifying your life.

Protection for Your Valuable Items

While your Homeowners insurance provides some coverage for valuable items such as jewelry, to properly insure your valuables, you need an endorsement added to the policy or a separate floater. This is important to protect your valuable jewelry, fine art, collectibles, wine collections and other high-value possessions.

Customized Coverages to Address Today’s Risks

We also customize your Homeowners insurance with specialty coverages such as Identity Theft, Service Line coverage, Sump Pump-Sewer Backup coverage and Equipment Breakdown, among other product lines available for the risks today’s home owner faces.

We Offer Condo Insurance, Renters Insurance

For Your Condo

Your condo association’s master insurance policy only covers the common areas of the building and property and the entire condo structure down to the walls—and perhaps even the ceilings and installed appliances—of your unit. Beyond that, insurance is your responsibility. We can provide you with a Condo insurance policy to cover your personal belongings – everything from your furniture to window treatments and clothing – against fire, theft and other hazards. The policy will also pay for alternative living arrangements if your unit is uninhabitable after a covered loss.

The liability portion of your Condo insurance will help pay for your legal defense and monetary settlements or judgments against you in a claim of bodily injury or property damage against you. We can also provide you with coverage for your financial responsibility in a loss-assessment against unit holders if the condo association is found liable for a claim that exceeds its limits of insurance.

If You’re Renting…

Many renters – whether leasing an apartment, house or townhouse – may think getting insurance is not needed as they don’t own the property. If a fire damages your stuff, though, you’ll be responsible for replacing it. Or if someone slips and falls inside your home and sues you for damages, the expenses will come out of your pocket.

Renters insurance covers your personal possessions in the event of property damage. It will also help with the costs for temporary relocation expenses if you’re displaced by a fire. In addition, the liability portion of a Renters policy will help with your legal defense bills and any settlements or awards that you have to pay, according to the limits of your policy.

Insuring Your Seasonal Home

A secondary or seasonal home requires special insurance coverage. We can provide you with a Homeowners policy for your second home, or a Dwelling Fire policy, which covers property damage and theft only, but not liability. You can extend your Liability coverage from your main Homeowners insurance to the second home.

If you’re renting your vacation home, it’s considered a busines activity and you need a different type of policy. We can discuss your specific needs to provide you with a policy that fits your various exposures.

Rodrian also provides homeowners with Flood insurance (not covered under a Homeowners, Condo or Renters policy) and other key personal lines coverages.
